Ratnanagar Rotary Library

Ratnanagar Rotary Library is the first public library of Chitwan. The library collections are being built up and there are currently about 3000 books. Daily newspapers and magazines are regularly being received and about 50 readers visit the library each day. The library is centrally located in Ratnanagar-2, Chitwan. With support from Rotary Club of Ratnanagar through Rotary International and Rotary Club of Hollywood, Ratnanagar Rotary Library is a center for local community, schools, Colleges and different resource centers. This library has also been designated as a point of reading and learning Centre to provide information services to the local community. It has various subjects including Dictionary, General knowledge, Computer Science, Philosophy, Religion, Social Science, Politics, Law Management, Pure Science, Technology, Literature, History, biography, Guide Book etc.

Business Help Desk

Business Help Desk Program is running in Ratnanagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) in assistance with International Labor Organization (ILO) and Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI) since 2015 with the aim to promote and encourage the development of local enterprises by identifying their specific needs and business requirements. Business Help Desk provides information, consultancy and training, in fact, all services necessary to start, upgrade, strengthen and promote small and medium enterprise and women entrepreneurs.

Child Protection and Child Labour Elimination Program

Ratnanagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been running the "Child Protection and Child Labour Elimination" Program with the support from UNICEF and initiation of the Ratnanagar Municipality since November 27, 2013. The program has been/is being launched for creating child labour free area in Ratnanagar Municipality. The Child Protection and Child Labour Elimination Program continues to work with the invaluable support of the community police, social activists, social clubs and women’s group, business persons and others.
